My wife just saw on Facebook or somewhere that Lelo Prado is back in USF Athletics.

I honestly didn’t know he left.  I also am not aware of his successes at USF after his baseball tenure ended.  Was he able to bag some big game?  Hoe did his last stay end?

He's been gone for a couple of years now.  Kingston replaced him and we immediately made the NCAA tournament... our current coach Mohl is continuing the Kingston success.  Prado was an 'OK' coach, hopefully he finds success in this position.  Oh... we fired him that's why he is no longer baseball coach.

Yeah, but he held an administrative role after coaching baseball. That’s what I was referring to - I thought he had been in fundraising role.

For clarity. Lelo wasn't fired as baseball coach, he decided he wanted to get out of coaching. He asked if there was another job for him. He did a good job at fundraising, left, and is now back. He will have some challenges, but he is well liked inside, which is why everyone is excited he is back.

His last stint ended like many that left the Bulls Club.  They hated the philosophy imposed by the AD and wanted out. Simply put Transactional vs. Relationship method of fund raising.

He's won a couple of Nat'l Titles and did a great job at L'ville.  Kind of like a Skip Holtz situation, for whatever reason he didn't do quite as well here but still did a very good job at USF.
