No, you're playing dumb ... there's a difference.  Just like there is a difference in a pitcher getting rocked regularly and having a couple of bad innings thus skewing his ERA ... the only stat you seem to care about even though it is far from the only stat that matters.

Should have just "yielded" when you said you were.

That's completely irrelevant and that's what you don't get.  It doesn't matter if he gives up 5 on Fri or Sat, no difference.  In fact we're better off "taxing" the pen on Friday so they have a night off while PS lights it up on Sat. because every Sun is going to be a bull pen day  (we'll ignore that PS only went 6 the first 2 series ... details)
