Just need to take care of business. We control our destiny.

We both win out and Boise gets NY6. No chance Boise remains above us if we close the year 11-1, with two top 25 wins and a conference championship.

Antitrust would be a moot point at that time. IDK. You and I may not teach at public schools, but most of the P5 are public. A serious threat to dry up their federal funds would go a long way towards the academic administration taking back control from the athletics departments. You can forget any AG from a P5 state, so it would likely need to come from an AG in Connecticut, Idaho, New Mexico or Wyoming. With Connecticut being the bluest of those states that may be the best hope. It didn't stop Orrin Hatch from complaining for years and years and he's a fairly red senator. I wouldn't be shocked if it was Idaho that led the charge with Boise getting the short end of the stick for so many years. Connecticut is a good call though. But regardless, this is an interesting proposition you have. But I wonder if the house would’ve be motivated to threaten the reduction of federal funds (financial aid)? Pretty sure the house values athletics over academics.
