No doubt about that. Rutgers by 3, UCONN by 7, and UC by 5. Rutgers was 8-5 UCONN 9-4 UC 10-3. Finished ranked #17 Oregon 9-4 Finished ranked #23 They also beat Auburn (Finished ranked 15) and a top 6 team in WV. 9 teams had 500 or better records. It's really no comparison to me even with a conference championship. Apples to Oranges.... But the 2007 team was 9-4, and lost their bowl game. Middle of the pack Big East team. Even with our garbage schedule this year, it will beat out that 2007 team if we win out. We've never put together a great season. Big wins here and there, but zero conference titles. Win the conference this year, it will be our best ever season, despite the conference we are in.

I can dominate little league baseball right now as an out of shape 34 year old.....it wouldn't mean anything other than I could dominate a bunch of 8-10 yr olds. That 9-4 record would catch the CFP posers attention more than our record now. We are living the reality of it. 1

I know what you are saying, and I wish we were still in one of the Power Conferences, but all we can do is win the conference in which we participate. We've never done that. Never really came close until last year. We finally have a shot at accomplishing something. Hopefully we get it done.

No, it was also ESPN. We've only been national o-t-a twice: CBS for the Sun and NBC for ND. This will be our first time on ABC.

How about we wait until after the season to determine which team is best.
