Good point.

When I first read the article, I had overlooked that fact.

I did notice though that Jerry was the one making  the bowl prediction that USF will be the G5 representative in the Peach Bowl.

Jerry is very well respected, perhaps, more so for his basketball RPI projections.

I agree that this guy's prediction was crap. Can't speak for others, but I for one read it because it popped up in my Google news feed, and I wanted to see how low in the top 25 this guy had USF. Dude let me down, of course, but I couldn't un-read it at that point. Then I felt compelled to share my disbelief with other Bulls faithful. Again, I agree that not having undefeated USF in a top 25 prediction is crappy. But then I also see things through the veil of 30 years of USF fandom.

Let's see, we are undefeated yet: attendance problems, coach wants out mid way through the season, people are leaving us out of top 25 predictions, and we are one loss away from the bad boy mowers bowl against who the f cares. Yeah, this is little league football for sure.
