Disagree. They run the pistol option that can be tough unless a team is really prepared and their defense is vastly improved. This is the third year for their coach so he is just now getting the players he needs to run that system. I bet they get six wins and become Bowl eligible.

Winning 6 games in the AAC is no accomplishment...two thirds of the conference is flat out awful.  USF and UCF are good, Navy and Houston are solid and the rest are pretty terrible.  When bad teams play each other, someone has to win.

Memphis has still lost just one game, right?

That's what I thought. Hard to classify them as pretty terrible then.

Tulane isn't a great team, but considering they have USF, Oklahoma, Navy, Houston, Memphis, and SMU on the schedule, if they get to a bowl game for the first time in 15 years it will be an accomplishment. They have moved from bottom dweller to middle of the conference. Just suggesting a possible trap game for us with Houston the following week.

I had a feeling Tulane was going to be a challenge. They're not at the top of the country, but our defense is going to have to be on top of it's game-and the offense will need to start fast. Still a winnable game, not a fan of how this is going to shape up going into a big matchup against Houston.

I define terrible as Connecticut and east Carolina. Tulane, does not meet that low of criteria. They are middle of the road team. Again USF  better be prepared against Tulane. They are not bad, and  have nothing to lose.
