So if Raymond James is damaged beyond ability to use,  what alternative venues are available?

the only thing I'd be able to think of would be the rowdies stadium. But now it's saying it'll be a category 1 by the time it hits Tampa, so I highly doubt that'll happen.

I think the stadium should be fine. The winds aren't as bad as they had predicted. I'm excited about football Friday.

Not sure if the guys will have enough time to prepare for this game. Is it possible they cancel it?

I would think unlikely but date/location is probably in play.

Damage around Tampa wasn't severe so I don't see the game being cancelled or moved to Illinois. I think it won't be played on Friday but I can see it being played Saturday as a doubleheader

It won't be at Raymond James then... Saturday is the Tampa Bay Classic - FAMU vs Tennessee State

But... Illinois has offered to switch the home-and-home, so USF plays at Champaign this year and Illinois comes to Tampa next year.

RayJay can't handle a double header with two completely different fan bases...

Jim - are you sure, I read Illinois offer to host the game this week, but I never read that they were willing to switch out the next game in the series. I read their offer as lets play 2 years in a row in Illinois. I could be wrong, but this is a very important distinction.
