Just reinforces the point that Gilbert called a crappy game. The defense was crowding 7 and 8 in the box and was daring us to beat them deep yet still called plays in the line.

Absolutely agree.  If CCS wanted us to take what the defense was giving, we should have had a ton more attempts of 15+ yards downfield.

No, THIS offense didn't. You may as well get it through you head that xCWT, MM and RA are gone.

I really think it may take him a few years at USF to get what he is trying to do. If we do win about 6 games I don't see other schools stealing him away. He recruits well so that will be a plus for USF if he is coaching here longer than anyone expected.

nah just let Trip and Strong blame the ineffective offense on Flowers not being able to hit the 3 yard hitches and 5 yard hooks in front of the two safeties that were there to stuff the run all game.

yeah that's why we didn't steamroll that team.

This is the biggest thing that I did see ... the lack of attempts deep down the field because of that .... unless of course those were the ones called when QF had to run for his life

Maybe Strong should see what Joe Kinnan is doing.  After all he does know all the HS coaches.
