CCS looks like he's at a funeral all game long...ironically that's how I felt most of the game also.

Not so sure about that, I saw him screaming at both players and coaches today.

It's kind of funny that most plain old fans sensed something was wrong with this offensive mentality after about two drives at SJSU.  Maybe after the first.

Don't be hard-headed coach, run an offense that fits the players.  We don't have time to watch another lengthy transition to an open offense.

Just now, George Jenkins said:

Or Joe Kinnan.

I was thinking of him as well, but he wasn't an on the field coach.

Kinnan was Taggart's HS coach and had a special relationship with him.

One thing I do know, is that Taggart should send him a good portion of his paycheck. LOL

Perhaps, it's time for CCS to give T.J. Weist a call.

Yep! This is some straight vanilla offense with no identity. I can't believe we have a guy like flowers and they managed to make him bland. It's like the offense got space jammed and they lost their talent lol

Good glad you saw him doing that because every time I looked over he was just standing with no emotion.

If he was smart he would have left the Gulf Coast offense in place for 2017 for Flowers senior year and then transitioned to new offense.

Should have just watched the film and try to replicate... maybe add some new wrinkles or new plays to have some surprises for the other coaches, but keep the same style of spread and screens and designed QB runs.

Oh and was anyone watching Flowers on the sideline? I was honestly disappointed at his composure. He was just shaking his head and somewhat pouting the entire time. I understand things aren't going well but usually that's when you need to stay positive and optimistic.

Excellent point. He had this problem a few times the last few seasons also. I can remember the offense of coordinator getting on him about that. He does get down on himself very quickly.

I wonder how much input Harlan has with CCS.

Harlan should express his displeasure of the offense to him.

That's what Harlan did with Taggart and that got him headed in the right direction.
