GAME DAY vs Stony Brook

USF will return to Raymond James Stadium for the first time since claiming the War On I-4 Trophy with a 48-31 dispatching of UCF on Nov. 26. The Bulls are 19-1 in home openers, falling to McNeese State in 2013. This will be the second home opener USF has played against Stony Brook. The Bulls downed the Seawolves, 59-14, in 2010 in the first game of the Skip Holtz era.

FIREWORKS AT RAY JAY: USF has won 11 of its last 13 home games and averaged 44.5 ppg and 515.7 ypg at home during that span, outscoring foes 44.5-25.4 on average with 10 wins by two touchdowns or more.

HIT THE GROUND RUNNING: USF set a program record with 74 rushing attempts, part of a record 101 plays, in its season opener. The Bulls ran for 315 yards while accounting for 548 yards of offense. D’Ernest Johnson (22), Darius Tice (20) and Quinton Flowers (18) did the bulk of the work.

FLOWERS AIMS AT RECORDS: The first of many records is close at hand for Quinton Flowers, who stands one rushing TD away from the USF career record of 32 set by his former teammate and current Indianapolis Colt Marlon Mack (32). With 2,664 career rushing yards, Flowers needs 68 yards to pass Andre Hall (2,731) for second all-time at USF. Flowers also improved his career TD passes to 48, now four behind Matt Grothe & B.J. Daniels (52) for second all-time at USF. Flowers has 21 career wins, tying him with Daniels for third-most by a USF QB all-time.
