I'm sure the P5 offer was nice for the kid but I wonder if after our early signing haul maybe he was shown his PT may be limited and asked to look around so we could focus on some bigger targets at positions of greater need.

This is what I'm thinking.  Since schools can't comment, we'll never really know.

My guess is that his mom just wanted him to sign with Iowa State, but he was undecided and he didn't sign with anybody in the early period.

We may have pulled his offer when he didn't sign.
