All for you guys getting one built ASAP.    The economic impact is a pipe dream having watched UCF's facilities and Downtown Orlando's similar renaissance.

USF is already an activity center.  It's not like you don't have restaurants or gas stations now.   6-7 more days of activity per year isn't going to create anything new.   Restaurants and bars will cater their specials around gameday and you might get a 2nd bookstore to sell merch if they don't just put out a mobile store.

There are plusses to an ocs but the economic impact to the surrounding area is not one of them in our case .... except on a limited, game day basis.

You forget to mention that the OCS may be used for more than just USF football. They can build it right in that concrets could be performed there. Tons of other events as well. For this to happen, a nice overhang to create a shady hot dog environment is a must.

Why not just build a bullet train to Raymond James?

I read last week that MOSI was going to stay, I believe.

Up to date article on that. Key in there:

Key to the financial rescue is Vinik, who has offered to split the cost of the debt with the county in hopes of keeping the museum afloat as it awaits relocation to his downtown Tampa redevelopment project. His share would be about $1 million

Before I continue I want it to be clear, I am all in favor of an OCS.  With that said, I don't know why we keep going over this.  There is no evidence that an OCS will increase attendance, or be a positive economical impact to USF or the surrounding area.

I thought I read somewhere where a move wouldn't take place until 2024 at the earliest.
