I guess with USF baseball being over, it sort of ends things for the season for USF Athletics. Anything still going on?

Man, what a season. Wild. In general, are you a happy Bull or a disappointed Bull with how things played out this season?

I'm a happy Bull and I give it a B+ for the season.

(1) Winning the bowl, Coach Strong & Co. & Texas oil money, rankings. Plus, we will be ranked next season.

(2) Men's bball got some badly needed changes from top to bottom. Don't know about them bones, though.

(3) Three of our guys got drafted by the NFL. Pretty awesome.

(4) Other USF sports did well.

We didn't get into a P5 was a downer. But it wasn't our fault; the B12 was just a tease.

B-     Need to win the conference championship in at least football, basketball (men's or ladies) or baseball for a higher grade.

I'd give it a B-.  Since we're grading on what actually happened this past year, mens's basketball and softball brings it down from a solid B.

C-
Made some moderate gains in the big sports(fball, soccer, baseball) vball really improved, wten was a suprise in the tourney but went from 2nd to 7th in the reg season. MGolf and MTen had to hold their own by winning championships which they did but the bottom dropped out of other sports. WXC finished second to last, M and WITF finished last, WGolf dropped 4 spots. Out of the 18 sports we improved in the standings in 4, remained the same in 3 and dropped in 11.

Amazing that the athletics program has trouble in Track. UCF dominates in that area. Wonder what the problem is?

LOL Does one even recruit for track and field? Or do people just show up? I cant imagine there's a ton of money in T&F recruiting.
