Have a look at Asheville, NC. Big enough to have amenities, small enough to still be friendly, four real seasons. Easy access and glorious scenery

Spent many a summer vacation up in that general area so it's definitely going to be an option ...

And I have family in the area, so I'll be in town from time to time...

You're gonna have to start going further and further North to get seasons.  As of this year Atlanta only has Summer and Fall.

If it's not going to snow, you might as well do away with winter completely.

I miss seasons. I really really miss seasons.

Not for a minute.  I can remember the 30" snowfalls and the snow being piled so high along the driveway I literally couldn't toss it up high enough which meant 10' walls along the drive. Didn't happen often but it was only a few years before we moved down here.  This year has been a bit too warm but hoping this year is an outlier. I know our President doesn't believe in global warming so we should be good next year.

In limited discussions we've already ruled out 2 places, Pyongyang and Atlanta.

Atlanta: LA traffic but without the beaches and near perfect weather

I'll keep paying $75 a month, get all my sports channels, and never miss game in HD.

Check out Vue.  You can do better for less.

It's great to see cable prices start to feel that downward pressure to lower rates, the consumer is finally getting the choice it deserves.

Still think lots of competition has yet to step foot into this field, HULU, Netflix and Amazon won't sit still for long...

LOL ... Haven't paid too much attention to the hearts lately but the downvoting of raptor's post may be a top 5 in perplexity. Can someone please enlighten?
