If only we had a staff with ties to New York

I think some of the guys we have are good   Just lacks shooters and a game plan that works. However our defense is terrible and that is something anyone can do well with coaching.

you need someone that can recruit florida

Or, if you really wanna improve, head up to Maryland, or drive over to Louisiana, swing up through Georgia and stop over in Tennessee. Florida? You might wanna stick to football.

Every game we play the other team seems to have more players.

It's a USF tradition.

Maybe we can improve by the time conference play begins...

How many Florida players did FGCU have?

After the buyout from taggart, can we afford to pay off Skippy and Heath so we at least have a clean slate if we need to ditch Antigua?

We owed Holtz $2.5 million, $500,000 a year for 5 years. So we're wrapping him up this year with one more $500,000 payment. No idea what the pay schedule was for Heath, but we owed him $1.5 million at the time of his firing.

This was reported earlier about CWT buyout.

Terms of the contract call for him to pay USF a $1.7 million buyout, which the Bulls could use to pay off former football coach Skip Holtz (owed $500,000 a year through Dec. 31, 2017) and ex-men's basketball coach Stan Heath (owed $375,000 annually through April 2018).

If USF were to Fire COA, per http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/breaking-down-antiguas-contract/2173044

He is in year 3 of a 5 year contract. Says USF would owe him $375,000 for each year.

So when Stan was fired, he was owed 4 years at $375,000 for $1.5 million and sounds like we still owe him about 1.5 seasons to finish his payment.

Basically the money received from the CWT buyout from Oregon would just about pay off Skip, Stan AND COA if USF so desired to go in another direction.
