Didn't his OC make like $900k last year.  I'll be interested to see Strongs contract and if it's structured to bring in A level names.

850, and it was a three year deal.  They have the same full buyout and 50% offset from a new job, according to this article

Matt Mattox also had a three year deal.  Not sure about the other guys

I think the Assistant $$$ pool will be significantly more.  Taggart already had that ball rolling before he left

If we made the deal with Strong back heavy we will have way more money in the assistant pool so we should be able to hire some great assistants. Offensively we need someone that runs the spread offense as we will have the most success with a spread. Defensively we need to get rid of the 4-2-5 and run either an aggressive 4-3 or 3-4 and get rid of the bend don't break defensive mindset. We need to start jamming WR on the line and blitzing to force their QB to get rid of the ball before they want to thus forcing more turnovers and getting the ball back into our explosive offense and letting them keep putting points on the board.

negative.  if we made the Strong contract back heavy it was to take the money we save the next two years to pay him more the last three.

Gilbert made a big difference from 2015 to 2016 when he took over...  runs the Baylor Briles system

And didn't we incorporate some of the Baylor system in to the West Coast power run system?  Shouldn't be a big transition.

Don't forget that thanks to CWT, we now have freed ourselves from paying past coaches. We now have our entire allotted amount that can go towards current coaches. It is truly a wonderful time to be a Bull! :GoBulls:

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
