These two ended up being fantastic hires.

Weist has the WR's playing the most fundamentally sound ball I've seen at USF in a long time if not ever.  It feels like there have been far less drops than I've seen in years, They're running great routes (and the correct routes) and they're are just monsters blocking down the field in the running game and in YAC situations.

Like many I was nervous about losing Danny Hope this off season as he made some real progress with the line last season.  Hiller came in and picked up right where he left off and our offensive line was a very strong unit this season.  Other than a couple individual meltdowns (hello end of the Temple game) they played technically sound and paved the way for the most productive offense in school history.

These guys were great additions and i feel like they deserve some shine on here for how their units played this season.  Go Bulls!

Agreed.  Especially losing Thor, Brynjar, and Mak on the O-Line last year.

They are both proven AAC/Big East level coaches and they know our division well.   Whoever is around would be wise to keep them here in Tampa. Weist has enough experience to be HC and maybe UConn should kept him in that capacity instead of hiring Diaco.

You know some in Uconn have to kicking themselves with their decision.

Upping this thread as both guys runs at USF are potentially over after yesterday.  They were both great additions to the staff and both of their units were big reasons for our success this season.  I hope CCS chooses to retain them but if not I'm thankful for what they brought to the program.

Agreed ... I think this was the most fundamentally sound offense I've ever seen USF field.  And props to TJ for his bowl win yesterday - it was an exciting game and I really enjoyed him rolling the dice a few times yesterday.

I wish them both success wherever they end up.  Would love them to have a spot at USF.
