Hope your mis-spelling was a typo?  If it wasn't for Selmon's vision, USF may never have had a football team. Therefore I support the idea of a statue. Good idea.

Yes it was a typo...and I'm serious

And yes, it is a shame, after 4 years, that CWT doesn't know the correct name and spelling of the person's name the building his office is in was named after. I'm disappointed to say the least, that he would not know that.

Geeze, can you guys get off of it?  He has a typo in a freaking tweet.  Big f-ing deal

I would not fire CWT, since he is a good recruiter, but his coaching and especially play calling skills leave a lot to be desired. The skill of most of his players make him look good in spite of himself.

I am surprised there wasn't a news flash shortly after that post of his, that he broke his arm patting himself on the back.  To me, his post seemed like nothing more than him saying, look at me and how good I am.

The only class act in this thread is Lee Roy Selmon. The jury is still out on CWT.

Please for the love of god make it stop....

It's hilarious watching the mental gymnastics people will go through to try to discredit CWT.

Have to give props for creativity, though ...

The fact that all these great athletes find themselves in position to beat one guy and take it the house has something to do with play design, play set up and play call. The whole offensive staff plays into that. If it was as simple as throwing helmets out and beating the other team then Tennessee would be 10-2 this year and not lost to Vandy.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
