We lost the ONLY game that mattered to most people in the bay area. Season was over and USF was once again resigned to afterthought status after that. The people on this board and a few die hards are the only ones that care about an AAC championship.

I don't think the AAC has much pop locally, but maybe getting ranked would do something. Agree though that they lost out on a huge opportunity to turn a corner with perception with FSU.

A lot of tie ins for the Publix campaign. Picture Rocky hitting Chief Osceola over the head with a Publix sub, or throwing half eaten chicken wings at Knightro.

I believe this to be true, if not overstating those who care.

I only think OCS helps with students.  Support from Alumni has to be rebuilt and communication, events, etc. is a good start

I will admit, that USF (under Harlan) seems to have started this...

but the results are not yielding soon enough

Only thing an ocs will definitely have is more USF control and, hopefully, better student attendance. I've seen or heard nothing that it would definitively generate more net money or better attendance. If it did, we'd probably already have one or definite plans for one ...

If USF wins the conference, then an OCS conversation may be good to have

Miami suffers too (attendance over the past 10 years)... and they talk about an OCS all the time.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
