The American is within a couple of points of passing the Big 12 conference in RPI ranking.  Compared to the G5 the American is closer to a Power 5 conference (bigger index gap).  Maybe next week we pass them.

Have to give credit to my son-in-law for this.  I said something about the Power5 to him and he said "You mean the Money 5?"

He should get that copyrighted or patented or whatever.  There are many M5 teams that USF could handle.

And as I write this, the gap has jumped back to B12 = 27.84 and AAC = 22.94

It takes a while for realtime to stop bouncing around after saturday's games...

Houston only dropped one (same as USF), and Navy only jumped up 1

Outcome: no real RPI change this weekend

When I look at the bottom feeders in all the Money 5 conferences I realize what a joke it is and it's the old boy network and the fact they were there 50 years ago. We could easily handle 25% of Money 5 teams.

I was going to second that but then realized this isn't a democracy and you are lord and master and made it a proclamation.
