Look if it was a one score game and the game was in doubt and we did this, risking turnover I would get the outrage, however I believe that CWT was trying to make a point to the team that we play from the opening whistle to the ending whistle no matter what the score is, there was no trying to run the score up to put ECU down but to make a point to our team that we never stop playing. (also think maybe that TD was for voters who don't watch our games with many potential teams dropping out of the rankings)

And if we lost a skill player from injury doing this you'd be ok? Because that is a large part of the calculation on doing this vs running the clock.

My hope is Lighthall asks the question.  The ending should give MF some ammo to write a bush league article about a bush league ending.

The game was over anyway, a pick 6 or any defensive score would have resulted in the same thing, a W

And an injury to QF could have ended the season. Same as 6 losses

Maybe just maybe he is trying to get QF better with reps. We didn't throw much down field all day. Why not get him exp. doing it when nothing can go too bad.

Maybe just maybe it is the other teams job to stop our offense.

Maybe just maybe we hardly could score the first two years of CWT tenure. Might as well mine all the scores we can.

What would an injury to Adams from a frustrated DB or Flowers from a mad lineman result in? A blown chance at the schools first real shot at the conference championship?

Wtf did I just watch? Did Steve Spurrier sneak his way into our sideline for the last 2 minutes? Running the ball is one thing, but it's hard to think up any situation or hidden agenda that makes throwing bombs to the end zone acceptable. Don't F with karma.
