I was going to say I go to a football game to watch football, but then I remember these are the Jags we are talking about. Surprised some of their fans have not tried to drown themselves over the years.

Well there was this one incident... At least we finally have some excitement around the Jags again.  It was a real low point when the new scoreboards were more exciting than the upcoming season.

Is it weird to root for Blake Scortles on your pro team?

Yes, yes it is. [edit] The only team appropriate for this would be the Bucs, but even that's a stretch. :GoBulls:

It hurt a little bit at first.  After last year though I"m on board with Blake.  But it does still feel a little weird.

Raymond James Stadium is undergoing a comprehensive renovation that will exceed $140 million. The multi-phase project started in 2014 and saw a complete redesign of the main level concessions locations. The major highlight of the next phase scheduled to be completed for the Buccaneers’ 2016 season is the installation of new, state-of-the-art HD video boards in each end zone and four HD tower video displays in each corner of the lower bowl, giving the stadium the third-largest video display space in the NFL at over 28,000 sq. ft. Also included will be a new, comprehensive sound system.

In addition, the Buccaneers premium experience will be completely transformed. All Luxury Suites will be totally reimagined with all-new, first class amenities that will create a year-round platform designed for catering to your hospitality needs. In addition, the Bucs are offering an all-new, all-inclusive seating option in the Hall of Fame Club. Located on the East Suite Level, the fully air-conditioned club offers an open-air viewing experience, creating the most immersive experience at Raymond James Stadium.

The final phase of renovations – scheduled to be completed for the team’s 2017 season – will include extensive overhauls of the East and West Club lounges, expansions of the general concourses, construction of a team store and other general enhancements.

Why anyone would want an OCS when we have a state of the art facility is beyond me. Seems like money for an OCS would be better spent somewhere else. The things USF would have to give up for on OCS versus the little they would get back doesn't make much sense. There just isn't the demand let alone the need for an OCS.

Blasphemy!

Well, the way fund raising is going I don't think we'll have to face that decision any time soon.  When the guy at the top treats donors like dog doo-doo you can understand why they're struggling.
