People think where an okay team and we are favored to win our conference and that's nice in all but what if we win today? If we where win today you would project yourselves into USF history as probably one of the great teams. Not only that we would probably be a ranked team. Last time we beat a top 10 team in ray jay was in 07' with #5 WVU against #18 USF and that year we got ranked 2nd in the nation guys. If we win and beat them today Infront of this sell out crowd we have the chance to do something no other USF team has done before. Sure we may be a G5 team that looks pretty good but if we win we may be in a playoff spot in the end of the year. Far out coach? Yeah I've been smoking the USF pipe but there is something to this and if we take this step tonight and beat FSU ... That chance there gets alot bigger but it's up to you guys. You must act like mad men on a mission to kill, steal, and destroy anything that stands in the way. Hit harder than they do, run faster than they do, play smarter than they do, and put more points up then they do. This may be the hardest game of our season but if we win tonight what can stop us? That team in the other locker room they already have national recognition and a couple of national championships but if we we beat them tonight we can start building our own. Go out there and replace those ifs with we did and  STAMPED THEM!!!

I think, first of all,  you should refrain from future criticisms of typos, spelling and grammatical errors.  We all should, I'm only pointing it out now because it is something you liked to do.  Deal?

As for the post itself I think you are making too big a deal about this game.   For one thing, we've beaten ranked teams before and beaten FSU before.  

It will most likely be our toughest challenge of the year but it's not worthy of your Independence Day speech. 

I don't know for sure,  but I suspect CJL used to play on the kid's emotions before big games but doing that is a double edged sword.  Under CJL we would win a big game one week and lose to a nobody or three later in the season. 

They need to play their game and leave it all out field.   

That being said,  I give you props for your enthusiasm.   We need as much as we can get.

Just let one/a couple of the former players give them a pregame prep talk. I'm sure we have a couple that could do a great job. 

If coach delivers the speech it should follow KISS guidelines to a tee. There will need to be emotion, and the speech will need to be fiery. As for the for the script, that's on them.... Something along the lines of earning respect, destroy these fools, real Bulls show up in big games, make them respect our house, penguins live in the cold, the office looks post apocalyptic today, and this day will drag on in infamy!
