It's really, for the most part, the SEC that forbids this, conference-wide.  There may be some schools that are in dry counties or what not here and there, but without doing any research, I would imagine beer sales at on-campus stadiums are pretty common across the country.  

Yeah I'm just basing it on surrounding schools (Vandy, Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisville) so your point is probably valid. I'm also basing it on fellow CUSA fans being pleasantly surprise to find out about beer sales.

The NCAA does not allow alcohol to be sold to the general public at its championship events.

Wow...only 34 out of all of FBS sell beer and only 23 of them are on campus stadiums

I sit corrected as well.  Far fewer CFB stadiums sell beer than I thought.  

The more stadiums that start selling beer, the mo' better off we'll all be.  :D
