Problem is, after losing yesterday, Memphis is out of contention for the West, while Temple still controls its own destiny in the East, so the motivation is all on Temple's side.  Will that translate to a win? I don't know, but I think it would have been better for us if Memphis had won yesterday, so they'd have more to play for next weekend.

but some teams like playing the part of the spoiler, so hopefully Memphis will come out and embrace that role

have to agree. uconn is not Tulane, or Charlotte. But I still hope Memphis comes out pissed off and knocks them off.

I agree. The only way the AAC East is settled next weekend is if we lose and Temple wins, otherwise it will come down to the last week.

That doesn't technically settle it.

If USF beats Cincy and Temple wins next week... that puts USF in first place, but ...

If USF then loses to UCF and Temple beats U Conn... then Temple wins the East.

That may not be likely, but it does mean that it's not "settled" until Thanksgiving.

Please happen.  Let's take care of our business first and stay focused and then we just need Temple to drop one more.

USF has 2 conference losses, Temple 1. So in the original scenario, where if we lose against Cinci and Temple beat Memphis, Temple clinch the East Saturday.
