A huge key against Navy will be how our front 4 handles the constant barrage of chop blocks Navy will throw at them. If they can fight off the chop blocks consistently we should be able to create some negative plays and take Navy off schedule. Also, the old cliche about Navy is you lose to them twice as guys will feel those chop blocks all the following week and of course there's the possibility of lower body injuries. The big guys really need to bring their hands and fight off those chop blocks this week.

They are cut blocks. A chop block occurs when you have a player engaged up high with another player and a third comes into one of them and blocks them low. Navy does cut block quite frequently, as it is hard to chase three potential ball carriers when you are on the ground.

My bust on the terminology snafu. Regardless the front 4's legs will be attacked all game long this week and how they deal with it will go a long way towards getting a W.

I don't know about CWT, but Tom Allen did coach against GaTech in 2013.  Ole Miss won 25-17

His WKU team played Navy back in 2011. It was a 40-14 loss at home. Navy rushed the ball 57 times for 410 yards. They only passed 7 times, but two of those went for TDs. Their team couldn't keep up physically with Navy. Hopefully CWT learned from that experience.

Interestingly, that year's WKU team started out 0-4 before figuring things out and ending the season winning 7 out of 8. In those first 4 losses, they scored a TOTAL of 55 points (13.75 ppg) in their last 8 games they scored 27.5 ppg, and that number was skewed by a 9 point performance against #1 LSU. The similarities to this season's team are there. Let's hope the on-field results continue.
