Where we Stand

Remember everyone got on me when I said I thought the offense would click and Flowers didn't have to be the greatest passer.  Now did I believe it at the time? ... well I'd never say.  But hey, while I'm riding this thing I'm going all in.  I think I predicted 8 or 9 wins this year... so just for my prediction's sake, I gotta go ALL IN... lol  So let'er ride brothers... If my cray @ss is correct this time, I'll probably lose my ****.  But like my pops once said to me "Great job. The sun shines on every dogs @ss at least once."  

Ride it til you can't. I think we are more of a 6-7 win (8 possible with a bowl) but any way you cut it either we are improving or greatly improving. I find it hard to see us not picking up at least 2 more wins which would already be an improvement on last year. Most importantly I am excited to go to the game Saturday. I always go, but now I am really excited to see the game instead of just hoping for a miracle .

I'll give you a for sticking to your guns. It is refreshing, but we have a lot of football left to prove. Too many hard times the past few years for me to say anything with certainty about our win potential. But I'm somewhere closer to the + side of the spectrum.

Man I'm forging Vegas to keep my Mojo with USF....  I can drive to Vegas and love it there for perspective.

Yeah... but one thing I keep thinking about is we get ECU and Temple after they play each other.  One team is likely to be beat up and ready for a letdown or coming off a loss and could be vulnerable to a team with confidence like us.  The stars could line up in the East for us.

Buddy I think your bus has rode on by and I am not sure you even lift  But hey maybe your picking percentage can be similar to CWT first or second year's winning percentage (see below and meant in good fun   keep up the positive!)

FAMU (home)            W - different leagues shouldn't be that close.

 

FSU (away)                L - to many new things in place for us to pull this off away

 

Maryland (away)         W - new QB, new D coord, lots of new faces on both sides of the ball, smell upset here

 

Memphis (home)          L-  weak secondary, great O. Not sure how this will play but I guess we will not have it quite together yet

 

Syracuse  (home)        W - new O coord, again lots of turnover on both sides of the ball

 

UConn (away)            W - still lots for them to do to become competitive again

 

SMU (home)               W - complete rebuild for SMU much like CWT first year gonna take some time

 

Navy (away)                L - Lots of experience returning, I think our run D gets exposed here

 

ECU (away)                 L - While they lost piece (O-coord, QB etc) the D likes stopping the run which will be the X factor

 

Temple (home)             L - I think this might be the let down game. While our D will get some INTs, our O will struggle

 

Cincinnati (home)         W - Their good O vs our good D. There D is weak w/ new D coord, hoping our O gets it together pull it out in the end

 

UCF (away)                 W - even when they should beat us handily they can't. They lost some talent and new D coord, we get our revenge!

I might revise the above now that we lost to MD, but at the time of writing this prediction the greener QB beat out Caleb which I thought gave us a better shot at winning. So I am hoping for 6-6.

•  This was my actual predictions.  I used the same one of 247 and rivals.  I can still come close.  10-3 is close to 11-2.   I'm still on deck, we can win the conference.  I always give myself + or - 2 games.  Remember... it's where you finish.
