This team has improved every year under Coach Taggert, and some want him fired

We are actually 18th in the nation in rushing yards per game. at 225 a game.

61st in yards per game at 410.

109th in passing yards a game at 188 (yes that includes passing behind the LOS :D)

most interesting part is 72 in points per game at 28.8

So, yes the passing game needs improvement. Yes the play calling has been conservative. However, it is easily the best production we have seen in the CWT years. I read on twitter ( Joey Knight I think) that at the current rate this offense will be top 5 in USF history.

This is true. I think they have improved way faster then I thought possible these last two games. I think that has to do with our DC more then anything and Taggs opening up the playbook. Allen is a beast, if CWT doesn't work out we should strongly consider that guy.

Some will still harp on QF...I say get over it. Is he the best QB? No, but the kid is making way more plays then some are giving him credit for. One turnover from being lazy with the ball, besides that a clean game.Coaching can help fix pocket awareness and knowing when to throw it away. You can't ask for more then that. He is our guy going forward this year, I laugh at all the continued efforts to point out every bad play he makes.

Keep the playbook open and downfield blocking clean and this team easily goes bowling.

Yeah I know.

At 409 yards per game, #USF offense on pace to rank among top 3 most productive in program history, best since 2011. pic.twitter.com/X8vk3Yq8fn

Cudos to CWT. I didn't Believe after watching him for 2 1/2 years that he would change but he finally did. Hopefully he continues to expand on his play calling. It very clear with the talent we have at running back and some quality receivers that if you force defenses to respect the QB position, even if it just mediocre this offence will score points. As long as they stay aggressive. The problem in the last three games was CWT was so conservative it borderd on the rediculas.

off topic but the DEFENSE REALLY NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO TACKLE. This is already a great D , IMO it would top 10 with better tackling!

Just think if you would have made that statement after our game with FAMU.  At 556 yards per game, USF offense on pace to lead the world.
