On one hand I get it, the Famu game and MD game were messy.

On the other hand we dominated a team we "should" beat and we lost to teams we were "expected" to lose. Is it really a meltdown? we are 1-2 and I hope to see the play book open up a bit more. We have 9 games to pick up 5 wins. at least 2 of those should be pretty well set in the W column. So we need 3 out of 7. I am sorry I do not think our team is bad enough to not get to 6 wins. I don't think anyone here was kidding themselves into thinking we are going 10+ this year.

So look at it this way, there will be at least 7 exciting meaningful games to us. The tire fire you smell is burning to the east.

Appreciate the sentiment.  But I'm not sure how they solve a problem in two weeks that they have been unable to solve in nearly three full years.

Sadly, Willie has not demonstrated the ability to adjust at all. If it's that they don't trust QF with a playbook, change QBs. I'm not going to watch anymore games with that offense the way it is.

This is what frustrates me the most, I'm not seeing the adjustments on offense. Taggart retaining play calling is yielding much of the same results we've experienced in his last two seasons.

It ain't exactly smelling like roses over here either, but I'll take the funk I smell over 0-3 any day. I don't see much hope over there this season.

[edit] - but the sweet smell of karma is pretty intoxicating, I'll admit. ;)

Ah, Karma. Boisterous at first . . . but nothing more than a whimper when times get rough, like really smelly flatulence. :FIREdevil:

My good friends here have been telling me it's all about winning the conference. They are now correct.

It's a new season for the Bulls.

Everybody, let's take a chill pill and give them the two weeks to see what they do with it.

I'm rooting for this football team to correct itself.

Believe it or not I think the O has changed susbtaintially. We are spreading the field a lot more horizontally and have some fun formations that I think will work w/the right QB in place. It's two steps forward one step back...

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
