The first "Preseason tailgate" was 2005. We had about 100 people show up to watch the USF awards ceremony highlights. We told Coach Leavitt and he jumped on board. The next year (2006) we had approx 200 people and it grew from there. And it was the preseason tailgate for years, Swamprat came up with the name Bullsrally 3-4 years ago.

 

 

If 2005 was the first, then 2015 would be the 11th annual.

Follow @USFBullsRally and @codesifter on twitter for news. We will also attempt to provide live updates from the event. I may need a volunteer to help with that. Between video and pictures, I'm pretty well tied up, though z-bull is helping with the pics.

 

I'm still trying to figure out how to tweet with my toes.

The city of Clearwater has listed the Bullsrally as a centennial event! I'm telling ya, this one will be big! Tony Grier might make an apperance and Coach Jones got the Bulls party bus painted just to show up! The bookstore will be there with their wares, and Jim from the new Bulls haven will be out to boot! 50 new Bullsrally mugs are in the works, and many, many giveaways! Be there.

Still not sure if we will be able to get there. Would like to as we always have a great time.  But hosting the Bulls Club people for lunch on Sunday and not sure how much cleaning and prep work we'll be doing on Saturday.

Gator Haven in pinellas is now partly green and gold. And from what I understand, they want to expand the USF portion of the store. I only talked to Jim a little bit, but invited him to see what he's all about. We'll see.

I know this starts at 11 AM, but what time should we get there?  I know in years past, there has been alot of fans in the parking lot prior to the doors opening, which created a rush to the seats like a general admission concert in the old days.  Does Capogna's open earlier than 11?
