That's what happens with public universities, they get money from the state. My point was not, who got what. I am not happy that UCF got money as well. My point is, that the State has no money, it has OUR money as taxpayers. I have never liked tax payer funded schools, thus I went to a school that did not draw on funds from the State I lived in. However, if you went to UCF, you took advantage of a publicly funded school. I don't know the exact economics of it, but a large public research university adds to the public coffers and have an economic impact on the are in which they are in.
