    Euro is generally the most reliable model, but the one I would trust the most is UKMET, which was the first to show Irma sinking into Cuba and going to the west coast, and did a great job on Matthew, which most models showed missing Florida wide right with 3 days to go.

    Taggart's defense was horrendous with Bresnahan and whoever followed Tom Allen. Allen's year though was fantastic. If only we were able to combine his 2015 defense with Taggart's 2016 offense.

    2019 OOC games: USF: Wisconsin, GT, BYU Mickey Mouse School: FA&M, Pitt, FAU, Stanford. Not sure who gets the edge. 2020: USF (Texas Nevada FAU) Mickey (UNC GT) This will depend on how strong Texas is in two seasons. From 2021-2025, Mickey plays one or two ACC teams a season. In that span, we have booked BYU, NC State x2, Texas x2, Florida x2 (until they dodge again), Louisville x2. Long term advantage is us by miles.

    I'm curious about the radio silence from the athletic department and the USF 'beat reporters' since Saturday's game. FWIW, Taggart (after going 4-8 in year 2) canned both coordinators on Dec 8, more than 10 days after the War-on-I4. I looked around to see if the athletic department released a statement supporting the embattled Holtz and Taggart after their respective second seasons (searching for precedent) but couldn't find anything.

    We have won 5 games in a row that we were expected to win. Many teams don’t win every game they are expected to win. I also did not expect us to be 5-0 given the amount of roster turnover this year. Are we one of the 25 best teams in the country? No. Do we deserve to be in the Top 25 this week, based on established ranking formulas and precedent? Yes, but barely.
