Finally, someone else with some sanity. It was just one game. Granted it was one we should have won, but it's not like we had a great start to our basketball season last year anyways. We will rebuild and rebound.

Christ, it was just one basketball game. We started last season like crap, i'm sure we can recover like we did then. Stop overreacting.

As a Sophmore who was in the Student Section tonight, I can tell you that everyone was really into the game. No, not our game, the TAMU/Bama one. I kept on hearing people yelling the latest updates lol I think one of the issues might have been that Sophmores like me who haven't been to a *true* home game, new Freshman, and Juniors/Seniors who never had a reason to be thirlled about our basketball team don't have many traditions developed. Traditions are what get the students involved. We have a couple in the football student section, but I didn't realize there were different traditions for our basketball team. For example, When our team makes a free throw, you stamp twice, clap twice, and hold out your right arm, make the bulls symbol, and shout "bulls". I'd give it a few games for the traditions to be learned by the new students. On another note, I'm assuming it's intentional, but I love that the USA flag is above the student section.

I was in the student section, third row from the front. Where I was, we were loud the entire game. I'm not sure about half ways up the student section though. Still, the student turnout was fantastic. Entire student section was packed!

We lost, but I trust Heath to learn from tonight's mistakes. We were horrible with rebounding, lost the tunrover battle big time, and couldn't score in the paint. I saw flashes of our grinding ugly (in a good way) defense, but it was too insoncistant. UCF made us play at their tempo, when we should have forced them to play at ours. Oh, and the refs sucked big time. At the start of the second half, we missed 6 consecutive FG attempts. Imagine if we made them, it could have been a whole different game. But shoulda coulda woulda. There are no excuses. We weren't horrendus, but there is a lot of improvement to be had. I see it as a diamond in the rough right now. And I trust Heath to make the necessary changes to improve the team.

3 time SEC coach of the year, 135–96 head coach record. Not bad. Although his last seasons at Ole Miss were horrible, he did lead the team to bowl victories over Techas Tech and Oklahoma State. Hell of a step up from Holtz. Where did you hear this from Sellular1?

Now talking about the "Status quo" comment..... and he is treading water. He is saying they need to make changes that will help them move forward, but won't say what the changes are. Oh, "we put Chris Cosh back on the field, instead of the press box".

Skip Holtz is comparing our team to a Bamboo plant. "In 5 years it doesn't grow an inch, and then in 1 month it grows 6 feet". So we have 2 more years of being crap before we start growing again?

I disagreed at first .... Struggling network for a struggling conference ... perfect match ... but now I do think we need at least some kind of decent presence on the Entertainment Sports Network, mainly for recruiting purposes. Kids today aren't wise enough to realize what a joke that network has become and not being on there could be used as a recruiting tool against us .... like they really need any more. Actually, NBC is finally turning around. It's having it's best year in nearly a decade, and is leading the networks so far this season. Thank god they got rid of the people who thought Jay Leno should be on in primetime.

Are you talking about the BullsRadio broadcast? They were furious. I have a show on BullsRadio and I've been talking with all the sportscasters there throughout the season, and they are just furious with where this team is going. But last night, they really opened up after that loss.

I honestly think someone will be canned this week. If the BoT was furious after the Temple game, they must be breathing fire after witnessing this debacle.
