  1. I confirm. MikeG may try to say it was an anti-jinx but he's seen too many good USF football teams and knew in his heart that they would drop a deuce in Maryland.
  2. How was the demeaner of the fans at the game Bausfkid? I would have hated to be there watching them fall apart after scoring first.
  3. My skills are unmatched and unassailable. Signed........Doug "Homerun Hitter" Woolard
  4. Exactly, blaming young players and not the coach who makes millions of dollars, is the response of mental midgets.
  5. Someone needs to take the Simple Jack poster, photoshop CWTs goofy mug over Simple Jack's and then change the title from Simple Jack to Simple Tagg. Oh, and then put below it, "Never go full retard". I'm not a photoshopper, otherwise I would do it in a New York second.
  6. Simple Tagg won't give him a legit shot. It means SB practicing with the 1st team and against the 1st team defense the week prior to the game, it means starting with SB and riding with him to the end of the game, like Edsall did with his starter. That makes to much sense and can't be comprehended by those with simple minds.
  7. Defense practices against the putrid offense we see every friggin week. How are they supposed to get good when they only face good offenses on Saturdays?
  8. He's not like Raheem, he's not a friend of the players and they don't respect him. You seem to be confused or you're making stuff up.
  9. Have we become UCF? Celebrating the failures of a university near us because we don't have successes of our own to celebrate?
  10. Technically CWT did NOT keep his word since Bench was not put in until the 4th quarter. And that seems to be typical of him from what I have seen and heard over the years. My guess is he made that story up to cover up his inability as a coach and he will put the blame on anyone and everyone instead of taking ownership of his mistakes and therefore blamed it on Bench. This isn't the first time CWT has shown his dislike or disdain for Bench, as we have seen over the previous years as well as this year. And definitely continues to show his inability to call plays and coach well enough to use the talent he has wisely so to put the best players on the field to give us a fighting chance of winning. This game was a tale of two coaches: Coach 1 wants and needs a balanced attack to get a win and places a QB in there with an ACL brace and limited movement to allow his passing game to thrive. He allows this replacement QB to get a weeks worth of practices with the starters. He weathers a first quarter of troublesome results and allows said QB, who hasn't started till this game to get acclimated to game speed and his receiving corp. Results are now history, ginger QB was very good with some errors that he was able to overcome because he was set up to succeed by his coach. Coach 2 could give a **** about a balanced attack and allows his QB with NO ability to throw effectively to get all the 1st team reps during practices the week of the game. Instead of seeing how poorly his offense is operating without effective passing and making a change early, he throws a cold QB in the game in the 4th quarter when basically the game is nearly out of hand and then pulls him after that first series. He can effectively blame this QB due to his ineffectiveness when said player was never afforded the opportunity to succeed. Which coach do you want, as USF fans, to coach this team??????
  11. They don't respect him, that much I know from some players and their parents. They think he's an idiot and I believe they are right.
  12. Holtz wasn't half as bad as Taggart. If he would have recruited instead of traveling on junkets and going to celebrity golf tournaments he would still be here. He didn't take this job as seriously as he should of because Woolard told him his job wasn't at risk just before pulling the plug. Woolard replaced someone competent, that he needed to effectively manage as the AD, with a worthless recruiter who can't coach his way out a wet paper bag.
  13. BS, I've been saying for years now that CWT is NOT a Div 1 college coach to much abuse here. He's the leader, he sets the tone and he is woefully inept. It's the head coach that drives a team to winning, wins and bowls or drives them into the proverbial ditch. It's that friggin simple.
  14. Taggart's already gone, the question is just when exactly do they physically cut the cord.
  15. Careful what you wish for.................. Edsall is changing to a better, more experienced QB to try and get a win. If his risk pays off with a win and CWT stays with QF and loses, who do you think wins the argument? Just thought now is a prescient time to remind everyone of this wonderful thread.
  16. A G5 school that has run out 2 coaches in the last 6 years. People will be knocking down the door if we open the job now We've made 2 horrible picks as our last coaches. We could have chosen a fan from the stands and gotten these results. Not we Nuker, this is still a Woogie Dullard issue. The last semblance of that mental and physical midget's impact on USF athletics. Time to have the last bit of the Woolard cancer removed from Lee Roy Selmon's building.
  17. +1 They are among us! Thankfully, neither Matt Grothe nor BJ Daniels (vis a vis CJL) shared your myopic view of a redshirt freshman QB's capabilties of going on the road and defeating ranked opponents. You guys are not REAL fans, you're something else.
  18. He's wrong, we need to keep them from scoring more points than us I'm going to have to disagree with you there, I think we can still win if they score more points than us. And you got an up arrow from this? Wow, TBP is populated with the "everyone gets a trophy crowd". Probably got the upvote for the entertainment value .... You do realize he was just kidding around, right? No, I took it literally, I've been here far too long to just assume comedy immediately.
  19. Triple B was right on road games, Taggart has been unusually good ATS. 1) Maryland 2) 24-20 3) Mack 4) Barr 5) 312
  20. Careful what you wish for.................. Edsall is changing to a better, more experienced QB to try and get a win. If his risk pays off with a win and CWT stays with QF and loses, who do you think wins the argument? Edsal had a reason to make the change. We are still trying to figure out who gives us the best chance to win. If QF struggles, you better believe Bench will get his chance. QF had a below average game against FSU but he did take care of the football. That is where Bench struggles. What? He threw an interception in the endzone and had at least one dropped pick 6. I would not call that taking care of the football. If SB gets derided for a Maryland game where he had one INT and 8 catchable drops, QF should likewise get derided for giving away 6 points, nearly providing 6 points and having 1 in 13 third down efficiency.
  21. Yep, he was one of the so-called worthless receivers that most on TBP trashed as for the reason our QB's sucked. Remember when the only guy our QB's had to throw to was Andre Davis and everyone else was trash? I certainly do.
  22. I agree, Flowers would have thrown better balls, tackles would have been made against Cook in the open field, and USF would have won going away if only we had filled our section with better USF fans.
  23. LIKE has nothing to do with it, only winning. If your starting QB can't win winnable games, he should be replaced. Anyone who says FSU wasn't winnable is giving them far too much credit.
