  1. Aaron Rogers, Cam Newton, LeGarrette Blount, Corey Dillon, LaVonte David, Jacquian Williams, Jason Pierre-Paul, Nick Fairley, Cortez Kennedy, Michael Williams, Josh Heupel, Mike Rozier, Roger Staubach, OJ SImpson (sorry Nicole and Ron), etc, etc, etc. The NFL has a healthy quantity of players that spent some early time at JUCO's. Funny and ignorant is no way to go through life JTrue, try a little research prior to sticking your sizable Keds in your blow hole. So you gave me, what, four QBs in 50 years? I think the numbers are just a bit tilted in my favor. I can make it easier for you. Name 10 JuCo QBs in the last 10 years that have made even a marginal impact at their programs. But, instead of Keds, lets go with British Knights in my mouth. Since we're using 80s shoes as the bet. The point is that you don't overlook the JUCO route for a possible QB at USF simply because you have this myopic view that former JUCO QB's aren't in the NFL in great numbers. USF's best QB's ever didn't make it in the NFL (Grothe, Blackwell, BJ Daniels (not playing QB), Chad Barnhardt). Chad Kelley is tearing it up with Ole Miss, he's a JUCO transfer. Heck, Julian Edelman was QB for a year at a JUCO then became a receiver in college. USF can't limit their options in getting good players from the JUCO ranks, whether they be QB's or any other position. SEC schools (Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss. St., LSU, etc), Oregon, K. State, FSU, USF (under Leavitt) have all used JUCOs to bolster there team rosters to be successful. A little deeper thinking and a little less poop jokes would do you well JTrue. So...no. You can't name 10 QBs. No one is talking about other positions. We covered that already. There are plenty of players who went the JuCo route and had fantastic college careers. QBs only. Stick to the script if you're going to spew ****. Also, I took a dump while I was waiting for your response. I was starting to think you'd thrown in the towel on even trying to answer the question. You're the one spewing here about JUCO QBs being unworthy of recognition. I'm pointing out the error in your logic. I guess it's "spewing ****" if I don't agree with you. Hey, so be it, I don't agree with your myopic view. I guess you can call it what you want to call it by ignoring multiple references to NFL and CFB successes already listed with a minimum of googling at midnight, but it certainly doesn't mean that I have to agree with you, does it? Again, for the cheap seats. Prove me wrong by giving me 10 JuCo QBs that have panned out in the last 10 years and you win. I'll even change my avatar to the picture of your choice. This is the last second I'm spending on this issue, since I'm sure that I could come up with 10 over the last 10 years but I have better things to do with my life. The life of a troll is spent having others do his research for him via, "prove me wrong with research", "link", etc. Congrats, you're a great troll but I'm not biting on that useless lure. Keep up the comedy though, you're very good at that.

  4. My money is on you as well and my assurance level is 99.9995%. The 0.0005% is there just in case the administration overrides Harlan's choice based upon input from an outside consultant (Doug Woolard). Far fetched I know, but I certainly never thought the administration would cut off their nose to spite their face when they sent Jim Leavitt packing.

  6. They had a spring and an entire summer, what good is two weeks going to provide?
  7. I wondered what you looked like when you created those two scenarios and now I know, thanks for clarity.
  8. So when, exactly, do you see this scenario playing out? Curious minds would like to know. Well, I would assume its going to happen in the scenario posted on the first page. Not a hypothetical JT, a real, dyed in the wool, scenario. I don't foresee QF EVER going for a win late in the 4th quarter. By the 4th, the games have all been decided with him in at QB. We're either beating a pathetic FAMU, or we're getting our asses handed to us by any reasonably competent team. Therefore, I see no real world scenario for QF going for the win late in the 4th. Now if we have to deal in the mystic fantasyland scenario of option no. 2, then I'll take option no. 3 that has SB going for a win late in the 4th, which would be similar to White's SMU win last year.
  9. So when, exactly, do you see this scenario playing out? Curious minds would like to know.
  10. He's a USF student, a member of USF football and he most certainly is a QB as far as position is concerned. He may not be YOUR QB, but he is most definitely a USF QB and if he was to get into the game, you should be behind him until he screws up royally. Taggart has decided to double down on "Full Retard" and has stated that QF is the starting and finishing QB and he has therefore tied his tenure at USF to one Quinton Flowers. Good luck to him.......he'll need it.
  11. No great prognostication, I've been telling you all since last year that this team will never make a bowl with the Short Bus running the show.
  12. Valiant try, gimli .... but you had to know how this picture was going to end, though. Where you been hiding lately? Community Service still? The CS was over on Friday. The trip to DC for the weekend kept my presence here to a minimum ..... a blessing, I might add. We were just as happy that you weren't here to spoil the overall disgust this board generated. Having to deal with your contrarian posts would have been maddening. Thanks again for staying away...........you should do it more often.
  13. Quit trying to act like you're the Stephen Hawking of CFB fandom. So, Professor Hawking, last I checked success is measured in Wins and Losses, not whatever fuzzy logic you're trying to espouse here. You may want to come up with your own theory, but it won't change reality. Now run along and try to play "the smartest guy in the room" somewhere else, you've worn out your welcome here.
  14. Sry apparently these numbers are different then thr qbr on the ESPN stats page...i thought they were a bit high for SB lol...anyhow here are the correct numbers SB last year: 161) Raw: 37.3 Adj: 43.9 MW last year (for comparison): 162) Raw: 45.0 Adj: 43.3 Funny they were right next to each other as far as ranking for last year. The QF love and the SB hate exhibited by some on this board is unnatural and unseemly.
  15. I agree, QF did as well as he could given his limited abilities. That's why it's incumbent on the head coach to use others with more or the right ability to ensure that the team wins while QF develops. In year 3 of his contract, with the poor showing for all those years, CWT is delusional if he expects fans and donors to wait for him to develop a poor QB over the next two years. USF will be lucky to win more than 3 games this year if they continue trying to create a passer out of QF, he is not a Div 1 QB and no amount of development is going to change that fact. Truth is a stubborn thing to many, so you're not alone.
  16. Wrong, buyout is at $400k/yr University salary without the remaining $750K supplemental income that would not be due if he was bought out.
  17. Obviously he went beyond, Taggart seeing himself in Flowers, and therefore having a preference because of that connection. Sounds like the guy might have been exposing his ass in public.
  18. Liars, thieves, and low character folks. Pity they were allowed to crater a great program and a coach's life work. Dirtbags that associated with dirtbags like Colby Erskin and Brett McMurphy.
  19. The play itself is not bad (saw it work a lot in the Colorado/CS game), it's just bad for US--we can't execute that. IMO it's too much to ask a WR to fight off 2 defenders for the 5 sec it takes to get the ball over there. Pass has to be delivered quickly and on a rope, and the play only works well if the defenders are giving a cushion...Maryland was not. We were fortunate on, like, the 4th try that it wasn't a pick6. Tear that page out of the playbook, please. Or at least modify it like some are saying. Exactly, they were tight to the line because there was no vertical passing game to respect. Simple logic and simple observation, missed entirely by Willie "Short Bus" Taggart.
  20. Remember this one fellas over the summer. I took a lot of heat from some on this board. I'm saving this post! Here me now, believe me later, CWT and Co. are taking this team to a bowl!
  21. Of course you are, why support an American company, based in America and built in America when you can support a company from Germany. You're probably a Bernie Sanders fan too.
  22. Caned may be more satisfying than canned at this point. I vote for caning instead of canning.
