    The regular season only matters for half of the Division. For the other half it is most meaningless, because they don't stand a chance at the ultimate prize, which is wrong.

    Wish him all of the success in the world. His success in the NFL means success for USF as well. That being said his upright running style and lack of shiftiness between tackles does not bode well. Also do not believe he will be able to get to edge as much as he did at USF (and vs. USF competition). NFL LB's ain't no joke. Best of luck to Marlon. All Time Great Bull.

    Don't be surprised if CCS: --runs the table this year. --gets USF MENTIONED in the playoff conversation -- has a top 5 Heisman hopeful --and is out the door by 2018 to a very high paying P5 job (most likely UF) All because of what he inherited...

    I find it odd that they discredit USC for losing 2 fumbles within our 5 but don't credit us for taking those fumbles away.

    Mack is a straight ahead runner and seems to lack the shiftiness to get through crowds at the line of scrimmage, and has seemed to go down fairly easily when hit as of late. That being said if he gets the edge he is a beast. Not sure he is getting the edge in the NFL tho...

    If G5 did threaten to break away and stop scheduling P5 schools period would that give P5 impetus to allow the G5 an at large bid? I suppose they could always schedule FCS instead.

    Anyone who thinks this will be an easy/sure win should look at last year's bowl game wherein we had a better defense and lost to WKU. USCe is better than WKU.

    The NCAA basketball tourney is so successful because (in part) the Cinderellas have a chance every year (that and hella gambling). Something similar has to be possible for CFB as well.

    Huh? He took an empty cupboard and floundering program to its best season ever and he was in over his head? Do you really think you can just roll the ball out to college players, especially at USF'S level, and watch them go without coaching them up? This ain't the Showtime Lakers.

    Hiring 2 African American coaches in a row would not hurt in building USF'S rep as a Progressive and forward thinking institution. Hesitant to ask, but has this ever been done in BCS/FCS?
