If you look at Colorado you can see the impact a great D coordinator has on a team. We sorely lack one here at USF.

Man this is painful. How wish for the old days. Where is Matt Yobe when we need him. Could Chucky even help this team ? Fred is probably just shaking his head. Bobby just put down a foot stomp so loud it was heard in St Pete.

QF would be getting a lot of votes if he had the UL defense. Jackson may be just a tad quicker but not much.

Someone actually thinks our DL is decent ? You need to rewatch the Memphis game. No penitration, very poor pursuit and a lack of physicality. Senet is the only one with a pulse.

Interesting thread to keep going for the season. After watching the Penn St win over Ohio St I think we safely say there will be more upsets and no one can predict what will happen. I mean did anyone really think SMU was going to take down Houston ?

Players or coaches ? Seems like a disconnect here. Chicken or the egg ? You need some talent to have a good defense and coaching will make them better. I don't think we lack talent on our defense. We don't have 11 true freshmen out there. Do we have NFL talent out there ? None that I can see. Coaches draw up plays every day for every down. Does failure mean not executing those plays fall on the players or the coaches ? If you don't teach your players how to do the basics no team will have success and I feel it goes back to that. Not the plays called but the failure of the coaching staff to teach them how to play. Defense tends to be more emotional and I see a major lack of that this year compared to last year. Just a message to the coaches.....ramp it up guys

Anyone who thinks this defense is even ok has not been watching them all year.

Really no surprise.......we all have known for awhile that our D was not very good.

Imagine the power this gives to say a WV or TCU....What you don't want to give me a fair share ? How does a nine team conference sound to you guys ? If they got the balls then they got the power.

I 100% trust the defense to let good teams score and the offense to score more. The pressure our offense puts on another team helps our defense get those turnovers. How would you like to be the other teams coach and have the ball 3rd down and 10 at your own 20 with 1 minute left in the half ?

I would say best offense ever for the first six games.

You can tell Mark it needed to be improved.......a lot.
