  1. Very good point. I'm sure CJS recvd a lot of positive reviews from all corners of the Tampa sports community. But, if this was a clean house rebuild 100%..I get it. Don't like it but I get it. I would want my Son mentored by CSK. He is a good man. I think CJS is a good man. Maybe this rebuild is what USF needed to finally...get us up and over the top of that hurdle we just never seem to be able to clear.
  2. Brace yourself...TBP can be a very rough ride at times due to some of the negative input. Just take it for what it's not worth and move on there are some (majority) really good folks on here..thankfully. Nice to have you along. Oh and...Hope Clemson beats the ape **** out of Ohio State.
  3. They are certainly insightful and appear to be mild mannered in their approach to being on TBP. Interesting how that fan base wish their departing coaches the best. Nice
  4. Ditto. No problem with this since CJS was a tight end coach so prob more involved than just letting him loose w/o direction and monitoring. I had no problem back when WT brought Kinnan over from Manatee HS. There are some pretty **** good/successful high school coaches just waiting to get takes to the next level. When Manatee HS would line up against Sarasota Riverview it looked like two D2 teams on the field. The bigger highs chools play at an elevated level. Players evolve as do their coaches. I feel good about these coaching hires so far. Interesting.
  5. Nice thing for all the coaching swaps/hires they don't have to move far..Commuter Coaches
  6. Lost me at the " ucf " comment USF UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA ( don't ask us about the South FL ) You did commit a mortal sin on this site however, your input/insight and opinion are welcome Ok now that we cleared that up....commence with your biography of CJS
  7. Being retired sometimes your just amazed that you woke up at all....
  8. I saw that he lost his job to a freshman which I guess prompted his leaving( I'm suspect of that move at times) But watching him in action he did look good. As for my reply to deters- ... I was being facetious. His comment was very detailed and interesting as it related to the kids video. I got a kick out of it.
  9. I think we will see an energy and enthusiasm that has been missing from USF for quite a while. The comments online from CJS past players say a lot about him.
  10. Coach Scott is in the building!!! #GoBolts #GoSensGo #NHL #OTTvsTBL @953WDAE @coach_jeffscott @USFFootball @USFAthletics #GoBulls #HornsUp #USF #TeamTampaBay #TampaBay What a nice welcome for sure. The Fan's at that game gave CJS a hardy round of cheers and applause. **DONT bother with the video attach it doesn't show that big screen moment**
  11. Yeah but...How do you really assess him??
  12. "out of touch for 2 years"....Naw you didn't miss anything...But, good thing your back now for the new ride were about to go on...Go Bull's
  13. Now that is Cool very cool...Intro CJS to Tampa. He looks good in the U doesn't he??
  14. Fortin's video of him vs VT and NCState show a lot. Kid is agile and wings the ball. Not afraid to run at all he looks solid.
  15. Praise the Lord..! Rocky made the cut... GO BULL'S !!! new and old disclaimer: yes I did yell the Go Bull's part...
  16. Thinkin she's going to need a pillow to set on to see over the wheel...the pedals?? hmmmmm? She's a cute little gal so maybe she can talk some recruits into coming our way.. or, at least plant the seed with their little bro/sis's to get them to apply pressure...
  17. There's a good possibility that CKB will get another HC job or an OC. The guys no slouch he likes o win. I think we will hear of him taking a job somewhere and building it into a winner. Said it before, he walked into a bad/failing situation when he came to usf. I'm sure he's just happy as hell he took the job. Be interesting to see....
  18. Makes you wonder how many potential recruits from Clemson we might pickup? They can only take so many in a class which should relate to some pretty good talent being left behind?? Think about this( it's a stretch but then I didn't see the entire Staff being canned)...what if USF gets some talent that needs to develop for a couple years only to transfer to Clemson for last 2 years..?? I have to beleive there will be some kind of conduit between the 2 schools...the Staff sweep was very surprising and somewhat rare it prompted a lot of thoughts. CJS by reports, is a thinker-planner-organizer this move I doubt was done on a whim. There's something developing in the wings??? Yep, my mind is wide open to the world of wonder right now...
  19. JUST HAVIN FUN.... Oh sorry...I got carried away for a minute had a "Capitalization" flashback.. Oddly, I cant believe that this post hasn't fallen off the bottom of the page yet.
  20. Yeah but were AAC and Dabo is ACC..We are USF and he is Clemson. We need some leftovers from the adult table sometimes
  21. I'll bet the FL recruiting frenzy is in full swing. Imagine CJS, CWT, CMN out there in high gear. Throw in FL, Miami, FIU, ucf along with countless others (kiffin) wouldn't that make for an interesting reality show..
  22. good idea loud letters could make them squeal ...similar to amp feedback in old days...I did the mea culpa earlier and promised to only utilize lower case from here on out. I was going to give them a mea maximum culpa but hell.I didn't feel that sorry.
  23. Nice article. Those Clemson Folks are very proud of CJS. I think Coach Swinney especially. CJS going back to see the Team through the playoffs is a very honorable thing to do. Maybe USF will build upon what there is to something like what the Clemson Family has...You can only Hope. Thx for posting this read your so right...Wouldn't it (pipe dream) be nice to think... USF could have a perpetual winning Team and a coach who wanted to stay for the long haul..??
  24. I'm thinking you were trying to solicit some marketing "idea's" to build go forward. The need to win is pretty much a given.
