Coach Scott speaks with energy and enthusiasm it's contagious. He's spinning a yarn, transmitting a message, hyping the program and, soliciting support from the community. I have great hopes for this guy and what he brings to USF.

Good article. Didn't see this back when it originally came out but, it has a lot of thought provoking relevance. I think remembering/reliving some of the USF highs helps us over the depressing tanks we have experienced. CJL mentions the #2 ranking of the past and I get why he uses this in his presentations. Basically, its a reminder that our recent losing seasons haven't always been the norm. He's using that as a spring board for the...Hey! we have done that and we can get there again. Use what you got Coach whatever works to get us there. Of course the new students at USF prob hear the "old guys" going on about #2, CJL, etc and say, Oh yeah, Back in the Day...

This weekend gotta watch. BJ, SJ, QF...beer, alright. I was glad that QF showed his ability last weekend on a few drives and scored. Called back but he got to be in the spotlight. I don't think Murray was very happy but he didn't show much in my opinion. It will be interesting to see what the Vipers coach does since Q was the offense. ??? Vipers looked like they needed a lot of work across the board.

Nupe..not this guy. I'm glad to see some go. Hate to see some go but have hopes that the new hires will help build our athletic programs. Hate, mockery and negativity should go to the auto ****-can file where those folks can go and wade around in the muck.. I think the vibe is better lately but then...there's a few cant seem to help themselves.

True USF has been around a long time. Ricky makes good points. When I refer to the "young" tag I'm equating that to other colleges we play that have been playing intercollegiate sports for over 100 years. Young--would still be our football program by comparison. We haven't made that indelible mark as yet. We've enjoyed the moments, runs and glimpses. Lot's of reasons but were just not there as yet. Men's bball should be better and I believe we have the right coach now to achieve that goal. Other sports we excel more than we fail. Football? probably why the majority of us are on this site. Football has been a roller coaster ride over the years. To be a USF Football fan isn't for the feint of heart. I think many USF Fan's are now hopeful that FB may be in positive change mode...Time will tell.

The Bull in the shield logo is NCAA approved. I don't recall seeing it on any past items at the bookstore. I've had the spare cover on 3 diff rv's over the past 6-7 years and I remember seeing the boat fenders about same time. I like the image it has a lot in it. One of those marketing mysteries I guess.
