Okay example. USF bball hasn't had a stellar season however....how many Bull's fans were watching the SMU game when Rideau hit the game winning 3 at the buzzer?? Now, how many Bull's fans watching that moment went....ALRIGHT!!! HOT ****!!! HOLY **** WE WON!!! etc etc... Felt good didn't it?? Winning. Pride in one's Team. Nice to see ESPN give some recognition to USF. I would guess a lot of us just enjoy seeing USF win. Are we a high flying, big buck P5 ? Nope. if that's what someone wanted, they prob should have gone to a Notre Dame, Alabama, Michigan, Florida, etc etc. Personally, I enjoy watching ( and sometimes going to) games. Nope, not happy when we lose but Yep, I feel pretty good when we win. If the "big leagues" are meant to be, it will come. I would prefer to see us dominate in all sports in the AAC conference while we wait for the Big Nod from the Big Guys. Until that time I will take pride in / enjoy my USF games.

I think(hope) we will see an entirely different team this year. CJS will coach up the players we have to play at a higher level( or they will be gone). The additions to the team should provide talent and experience. Obviously, there must be some scholarships still available to hit up the portal?? Like ET86, a 6-6 record with a bowl gets USF back on track.

Cornelius had a very good game as did the entire team. Murray? not to impressive. That said, I could see a combo of QF and Corny running the offense both offering two diff dynamics. Q showed he still has it. I'm sure he wants to be the starting QB maybe he see's that if traded?? Tampa loves the guy and he will draw fans somewhere else, maybe not so much. Quinton is getting to play the game he loves and, he's making $$. Maybe he will flip the opp into a future only time will tell....

Thought the Team looked much better and stayed more focused. Fewer out of control kamikaze lane drives by Collins and Rideau. Nice to see Maricevic playing to a higher level like some of the others. More 3 pointers, rebounds. Glad for the win. Cincy will be a good measure to show if we are really playing better. Nice win...

Would imagine that CJS and Asst's are sitting down with each player to assess their place as it relates to a new system. Prob be more that will decide another program may be a better fit for them. It will be interesting to see who leaves and who comes in. I get the read that CJS is an over-achiever. Winning is what he's use to so winning sooner rather than later at USF may be in the cards?? Time will tell...

Possibly the best move the Vipers owners could do is, keep Quinton and get rid of Trestman???? He has shown nothing. I think he is out of his league. Where's the old "Ball Coach" when you need him..? QF is a win win for Tampa. Not only can he make plays and move the ball he helps draw fans. Seems like the only guy in Tampa that doesn't get it is...Trestman

Deja vu.....Poor old QF seems like he is always trying to prove himself. First at USF until he and the gang coached up WT so they could break loose. Then at Bengals. I think that coached screwed the pooch by not utilizing QF at running back. Now, Vipers. Seems this coach doesn't see it either but others certainly do. Tough for a guy to hone his skills and get use to the game if he see's limited playing time. His int the other day hell, maybe somebody should have at least brush blocked that monster that came in untouched. Plus, a pass play in the end zone?? Tuck it-Run it. Hope he shows his skills today hell, maybe they will actually win a game??

Your assessment is spot on especially regarding the difference that Yetna would bring. Not the season we all wanted but in most games we are in there and they play hard. Seems we are always lacking 10-15 extra points and a dozen rebounds=Yetna. Next year should find us bigger and stronger.
