  1. Think I saw an ESPN article the other day that said something about 50% of stadium capacity for Texas games in the beginning of the season.
  2. Ah... Mr Curmdgeon, you forgot Fake News Views.....And remember, we have now entered into the advertised Summer of Love . There, now don't you feel warm and fuzzy now??
  3. Nice thought JChem... Oddly, I saw the title to your post and the lyrics of a Toby Keith song came to mind..Instead of "I love this bar" it could be bent to say: "I love this site, it's my kind of place" Another verse applies too about the types of patrons but, I wont go there my voice isn't that great... See, your post stimulates... TBP is a good place for sure...
  4. Playing his senior year could help him build his resume and it would help the team. His size, ability and consistency all are in question when it comes to NBA potential. A strong senior year along with USF winning some notable games(winning record) could help him. Yetna coming back could help his game too.
  5. Neigh? Whinny? Snort? Nicker? Ohhhh....Horse Dooky! Got it now...
  6. Guess I would be an American/Scotch-Irish/Dutch...Just use ASID for short
  7. Ha!! possibly he was going Commando under his buckskin britches???
  8. Thanks for reminding me...I apologize to the Italian guy for throwing the cup out of the car window when I was in high school.
  9. I feel at this time I should just issue a gigantic Mea Culpa... for things I have obviously done. And for things that I am alleged to have done. And for things I have failed to do but should have done. And lastly, for all the failures of all the TBP members, their families, friends, neighbors and casual contacts. Dam, I am such a **** Question: The Comanche Tribe are TBP members??? Oh and Sorry for this posting twice..Go figure

  11. Ha! watching the "endless" news broadcasts it would appear that 50% of folks wear masks and 50% go Comanche. Hmm?? can I even say Comanche anymore?? Anyway, the mass of humanity pressed together?? I'm sure some of the UH folks were in attendance. Time will tell...
  12. You know you aren't allowed to invoke the memory of CJL on here, what were you thinking? You lose your mind momentarily?? Just think, if there was a statue of CJL on campus it would probably be torn down... :=}
  13. Why are we so-so past tense. Amazing in our 25 years of football existence that we/they always refer to our accomplishments as history. I am so-so hopeful that CJS will right this floundering ship and create a WINNER...USF is so-so overdo I'm into the so-so thing today..most be all the exciting news I'm watching. Better not get going on that subject
  14. We will practice behind the cloak of anonymity as a cellar dweller then....hit the field and kick their asses... Sometimes it's good to be the underdog........
  15. 2020 has thrown many new wrinkles into things. Confusion abounds. It will be interesting to see how this team does under CJS and who emerges as the team leaders??
  16. True True A team will assume the attitude of the coach over time. I'm sure you know to whom I refer. (hint: the opposite of weak is??? ) This USF team and staff should/will be a positive force going forward. That should result in wins... Funny, thought about the re to players assuming attitude of coach..made me think of CJL and our past defenses, they always wanted to kick somebody's ass..Ha!
  17. This man has the ability and opportunity to help mold young men into good, mature, productive, responsible men. Football aside, these young guys no matter their race, are at a period in their lives that will present them with a crossroad at some point. Many are probably feeling a lot of pressure exerted upon them from many directions. CJS and the others hopefully, will guide them through all that is going on currently and prepare them for their future places in society. Hopefully, these young men will go on to make the right choices after their football years. Hopefully, USF's administration and it's professors will provide them with a balanced education. Maybe all who have influence over these young athletes will impart the truth w/o a politically biased slant.. Time will tell?? "Hopefully" is the word of the times.. It's good to see people associated with USF doing admirable things...
  18. U R like the friggin GURU of all things USF sports....in the old days your nickname would have been Scoop. Kinda like Jimmy Olsen but way more educated. I will always check your posts first prior to posting anything thinking...AhHa! I got one over on old NEB..it cannot be done he says, humbly. I think my son was taken by surprise when the guy saw the bull's logo's on his mask. He did say, he was impressed with the town of about 70k it was Grizzlies stuff everywhere.
  19. ****! Day late and a dollar short...Prior to my future scoops I will go to the New England Bull reference files first....But, I did think the guy in Montana seeing the USF logo on the mask was kinda cool. Oh well.
  20. Montana Grizzly. The link is attached in the original transfer post. Nice article.
