I'm surprised there haven't been more transfers to be honest but with spring ball over we could probably see a couple more who just don't vibe with coaches or find themselves farther down the new staffs depth chart than they'd prefer; or in this case he may have felt that he'd be better to remain at safety where the staff thought he'd better at LB. Good luck to him.

Did I miss something? I think it's more likely Dixon's issues are with grades. Most times when athletes transfer out, they don't thanks the "Academic Staff", while leaving. He started last year with such promise and then the injury. I thought he would be a big part of our D this year. At the very least this hurts our depth on the Defensive side of the ball

Good luck to him. I think it was because he got moved from Safety to LB... I think it's more of a 'writing on the wall' type deal where he could see he wasn't going to be starting and maybe not in the 2 deep. Secondary is just really deep and getting deeper with the addition of Farrar.

I wish Dixon well.
