With expectations at an all-time low (at least for me), it's going to be hard for any coach to disappoint.

If Holston leaves he is giving up a year of eligibility.   No RS left for him to use.

Gotta wonder did these guys quit because Murry was staying or because Murry was leaving.  The fact nothing has been said, I wonder if it's because Murry ain't staying.  They played hard for him.

Or maybe it's just because these guys have other issues.

Anyone announcing the day after the last game of the year had their mind made up. Murry vs. no Murry is not a factor in my mind.

Definitely tend to agree. They wanted the first train out of Dodge, didn't care who the new sheriff's going to be.

APR score will now take a hit. Bet we lose scholarships in the future (along with the NCAA sanctions requiring a loss). The misery of this team will never cease....

As long as the players finish off their academic semester and are in good academic standing there will be no affect on the APR. Good academic standing means that they are still eligible to play (academically) and are on target to obtaining a degree. In the case of Thorpe he is graduating so no issue there.

If he graduates ... Haven't seen anything that says he's close.

Not in the AAC if I recall correctly, everywhere else, yes.

McMurray will play next season for SMU after transferring from USF this season. I believe he will have to sit out the fall semester but will be eligible in Jan 2018 just in time to face us.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
