I certainly agree we are in good shape, but the results could have been so much better. They've got to be disappointed in how they finished the day.

No question about that, because it definitely impacts whether they make it to the final eight teams after the 72 hole cut.

For people who don't know, after 54 holes the 15 teams remaining still keep their scores and position. So, teams not just hoping to make the final 15, are trying to position themselves as well as possible for the next cut.

Now tied for 20th place and falling fast. One of our dudes just had a quadruple bogey... I don't even have those.

Claudio has to be the one really feeling like dog sheet right now. Go to sleep last nite in first place at -4 then start the day off Double, Double, Bogey, Par, Bogey, Bogey. +7 through the first 6 holes today. That's hard to imagine

USF is now tied for 6th at the end of the round. LOL

It was a complete reversal from yesterday, but it's understandable.

Apparently, the front side is much tougher than the back, at least for USF.

So, today they got off to a terrible start playing the front nine first and rallied on the back to end up in better position than yesterday.

There are still many teams on the course, so our exact position may change somewhat at the conclusion of play today.

What is astonishing is that nine of the top 11 ranked teams are currently below the cut line for 15th place.

Of course, some of them should be expected to rally tomorrow, but many won't.

So, after 54 holes there won't be nearly as many top teams still playing for the title.

If USF can make it to the final eight, they will be one of the better ranked teams in the field.

As play continues today, USF has now moved up to T5.

Tied for 7th now as the teams around us move up and down. The real challenge is that we are 10 shots off the lead. We will need to start strong tomorrow.
