At the end of two rounds USF is T5 at +9.

15th place at the momdent is +18, so USF, at this point, has a nice cushion tomorrow in the third round to advance.

I presume USF will be paired with LSU in 4th and Vandy T5. For those who followed the NCAA regionals, USF beat both of them handily there, but this is a different course. Still, USF should be comfortable being paired with them.

So, assuming we advance to the final 15, is that next weekend, for the National Title?

Play continues day after day until its decided.

After 54 holes it cuts to 15 tomorrow night. The next day they play 18 more holes and the field is then whittled down to 8 teams. Those teams are seeded in "match" play based on their finish: #1 plays #8, #2 plays #7, #3 plays #6 and #4 plays #5. Winners advance to conclusion.

The quarters and semis are played the same day, June 2nd, with the finals on the 3rd, correct?

I believe that is correct. We spoke about that previously in the regional thread, where I posted the daily schedule.

Notes:

USF is starting out on the tougher front nine. So, they figure to lose ground playing that, but should regain some strokes on the easier back nine.

Some teams are starting their round on the back nine, so the scoring can be misleading. If interested, you can check on which nine is being played, by clicking on that particular team.

Nice to know. I was looking at the scores and we indeed have lost ground for the time being.

It does warm the heart to see USF kick the ever loving crap out of the Gators no matter what the sport ...

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
