Cooper might want to give serious thought to changing the lines up to try and throw curveballs at Chicago. Seems to me Crawford is very comfortable so we have to make him uncomfortable to force game 7

Well they are 3-0 in must win games (twice on the road)

Bishop needs to stay in the crease.

Hopefully it doesn't go to overtime like game 6 in '04. I can't take the nerves of sudden death.

NHLN showed that game as one of its' classics a couple of weeks ago and it was like a game 7. I don't know if they embellished that crowd noise but it sounded like the Calgary fans were standing and screaming every minute of the WHOLE game. Heard nothing like that, for that prolonged a time, in any of the playoff games this year in any venue.

Exciting to watch now knowing they would go on to win.

The announcers were a lot better than what NBC has today. Gary Thorne is a much better play by play guy than Emrick. That was back when ESPN actually cared about hockey.

can someone explain to me why the lightning kept shooting low on crawford when they could have easily scored by going high on him especially on the stamkos breakaway where he tried to go low on crawford when all he had to do was go high after crawford after he played on the ice

I like Mike Emrick, I thought he did a good job.

Sucks to lose, but Chicago played well. Lightning 3rd period was pretty ugly.

They just revealed that bishop played with a torn groin and Johnson played with a broken wrist. Makes you wonder what would have happened had Johnson and bishop been healthy throughout the entire finals would the outcome be different

Wacky thing is for less than I was going to spend on that one game, I got season tix for next year .... Shows how special, and coveted, Game 7's are.

Yup.  Game 7s with your team are rare and fleeting ...

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
