Bishop better tighten up like Lundqvist has these past couple games.  He's a leaky sieve right now.  It's going to take all the firepower the Lightning have to get through game 7 in NYC.

He's come up big when it really counted the two previous series. Hopefully he can do it again ... do have to remember this is his first SC playoff experience so wouldn't be a complete shocker to me if the King prevails, though.

Yeah.  I still miss Khabibulin though.  If the Lightning can get to the Finals I think they have a pretty good shot at winning the Cup.

Habby had played in 34 SC Playoff games before the TB Cup year. If it's not this year, hopefully the team is young enough overall to get Bish more chances ..... and the hoser talking heads disagree with your SC Final assessment. They think both teams in the West would beat either NY or TB ..... but that's why they play the games.

Bishop and the D played well tonight. Definitely a more inspired Bolts team hit the ice for game 7. Looking forward to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Although it would have been great to have clinched the series at home, I almost like it better that they did it in front of an arena full of those douchebag New York fans and sent them crawling home ...

So glad I was wrong.  The defense last night was outstanding.

Good news is, unless a huge collapse, Bolts will have home ice for the Finals ..... Bad news is, if the Anaheim crowd and regular season here is any indication, that "home" ice will be tenuous at best. A good bet they'll be tons more Hawks' fans here than the jack off Ranger fans.

Funny how quiet MSG got after the second goal. I was against it at the time, but I got to give credit to Stevie Y for pulling off the trade with NY last year. St. Louis is well past his prime and the draft picks and Callahan will benefit the Bolts for years.

Every team the Lightning faced in this year's playoffs are part of the original 6 (including the team they will face in the finals).

Anybody here have tickets for the finals?

I don't, but I do know some folks who had Garth Brooks tickets that no longer do.  :D

We've had tickets for all of the rounds so far.

...But we passed on tickets for the finals.  Crazy?

(It was my fiance who surprised me with the tickets.)

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
