I'd love to hate, but by all accounts, looks like you all have a solid class. Possibly the best in the conference and definitely better than some of the big boys.

That said, I hope those kids go 0-4 or 0-5 against UCF the next few years.

But for today, congrats.

Very cool of you man

Was looking at your new kids signed today and was really surprised at the geography. Only 4 of the UCF signees are from the state of Florida compared to 18 for USF. Lots from Georgia including Parick Jasinski from my daughter's HS, Blessed Trinity here in Roswell.

Thanks, I think Cincy may jump us in the end. They are getting some late commits to jump. They flipped Lewis from WVU. I think they're going to have 25-27 commits.

They are still listed as lower than USF due to the ratings of a good portion of their class

About 10 are listed as 2 stars commits.

They barely passed us.

That's with 5 players more.  Splitting hairs but our avg is a tad higher.

I go by 247

It  seems like a better site (and not just because of this ranking... I just think their service is a bit more detailed since they also use the other site info in their composit score) :

Just perusing blogs and forums of numerous schools comparing the 4, seems most think Rivals has the best evaluations.

This head coach brought in a QB.  How good he'll be remains to be seen.

The odds of him being a good QB is small. He's a 6' 1" two star QB with no major offers. And don't give me, "Oh, but what about Carden or Bortles"? Those are exceptions and very rarely happen. Odds are, Taggart missed again at the most important position.

We've, "missed" on this position more than we've hit throughout our history.  BJ Daniels was the only, "star" recruit at the position.

Scouts pass up guys that don't have the measurables all the time. Even in the NFL. Height does not determine the quality of a QB. Huge mistake. They only care if they are 6'4" with a rocket arm. They don't care if they can actually play the position.

That's why Blaine Gabbert gets drafted in the 1st round while Chase Daniel goes undrafted from the same college even though Daniel was a 2 time heisman finalsit with 61 more career passing TDs. All because he was 4 inches shorter.

The kid accounted for 43 TDs his junior year on a team that was considered the 3rd best in the country last year. I don't care what a bunch of so called "experts" think by watching a few highlight clips.

we had that 5 star can't miss prospect Carlton Hill that was moved to a 4 star when we signed him.

He had a career completion percentage of 46% and had 2 picks and 2 fumbles before he flamed out.

of course he was ranked 20th best player in the nation that year by these services.

I would call that a miss.
