He could give himself the title of OC and just hire an OL coach and then hire a DC and DB coach...might save a few nickels that way

I said earlier, it's still about coaching. Every position. CWT can't coach all of them. But it is his responsibility to make sure they are coached adequately.

I personally don't think too many position were better at the end of the year.

So doing something is having a new offensive scheme every year? I am pretty sure, even in the pros, you cant institute a new offensive scheme and expect it to work fantastically in the first year. Not sure Wulff would have been the guy but to give him a single year and expect flawless execution from a bunch of teenagers is unrealistic. Not sure the point of firing Breshnahan either. Yes there was definite regression this year but USF is only a year removed from having a top 15 defense. Who didn't expect to have a weak secondary when 6 of the 8 DBs were underclassmen. Is it so surprising the Byrd and Dunkley who are upperclassmen are the biggest names from that group? Which leads me to question the whole firing of the secondary coach, is there someone who could have done better? Well now there will be because next year you'll have 5 of the 8 two deep being upperclassmen. It'll be amazing how the new secondary coach will improve the team.

That's the analyst in me, the fan in me says.....

You lost to UCF, two years in row, you lost to UCF by being shut out at home for the first time ever. BLOW THE WHOLE THING UP and rehire CJL.
