But I'd rather lose a shootout. With what our football and basketball programs of thrown out there the last several years, I certainly would agree with you. Heck add baseball to that discussion

I could tell within about 5 possessions this team will far more exciting to watch this year. We're super young, but great to see we have a few more shooters this year. The staff seems organized; they are doing things with a purpose. Throw in some talent and size over the next year or two and we should be treated to some pretty good stuff. I hope you are right as I been watching and waiting for a long time. Would love to see COA become to mens hoops at USF to what Jose Fernandez has become to USF womens hoops. IUP is a very good D2 team and was a great opponent for an exhibition to get our guys some real college experience. Surprised at the student showing 2/3 up the second level, way to go. COA works the bench and the refs very well. Cousins is going to turn out to be a great find. AC spends a lot of time down on the floor. I was cringing every time he went down. Fortunately he always got up and appears he is back in form. We finally seem to have guys that can make free throws. Very optimistic for the season. I sat a few rows behind the bench and the enthusiasm this staff has is great. Coaching these guys up all throughout the game as well as talking to the bench when there was something to be learned. Student section looked great for an exhibition game. Glad to see it. Definitely a young team, but there was a lot of effort out there. They still has some struggles on offense and were confused multiple time on defense, but there was a lot of communication on the floor. As with football right now, wins/losses won't be the bottom line this year. Improvement as the season goes along is what I am looking to see. Should be exciting to see what Coach Antigua can put together.
